IMYC
For students aged 11 to 14 years, the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) provides a dynamic learning experience. It encourages independent thinking, collaboration, and real-world connections, helping young learners navigate challenges and thrive academically and personally.

IMYC
The International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) at Rumukoroshe School is a carefully designed programme for students aged 11 to 14 years, bridging the transition between primary and secondary education. It offers a rigorous, concept-driven framework that integrates learning across a wide range of subjects, encouraging students to see meaningful connections between ideas and real-world experiences.
Through the IMYC, learners are challenged to think critically, work collaboratively, and reflect on their learning journey. Each unit of study is built around a central theme, helping students develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their community, and the world. The curriculum fosters academic excellence, personal development, and international-mindedness, preparing students to become resilient, adaptable, and thoughtful global citizens.
As the final stage of the International Curriculum, the IMYC incorporates the latest educational research and evidence to ensure it remains at the forefront of learning design for international education.
