International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC)
Children’s learning in the Early years (Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Primary 1) is supported through the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) which forms a comprehensive, playful learning framework and evidence-base on learning in an early chilidhood

Literacy and Mathematics
At Rumukoroshe School we follow the Literacy and Mathematics curriculum frameworks from England for learning as the core schemes for Literacy and Mathematics.
International Primary Curriculum (IPC)
The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) at Rumukoroshe School inspires young learners to explore, create, and discover through fun, themed units. It builds curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning while helping children connect classroom lessons to the world around them.
International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC)
The IMYC at Rumukoroshe School engages students aged 11–14 through creative, theme-based learning. It encourages curiosity, teamwork, and reflection, helping learners connect their studies to real-life experiences and develop the confidence to thrive in a global world.
Sports and Physical Education
Physical fitness is an integral part of our curriculum. Our sports programs promote teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle, allowing children to explore various sports and develop their athletic skills in a supportive environment.
Art and Music
Our arts and music programs encourages children to express themselves through various mediums, including visual arts, music, and drama. This fosters not only artistic skills but also builds confidence and teamwork.
Clubs and Organizations
Children can join a variety of After School Activities that cater to diverse interests, from gymnastics to STEM. These groups foster leadership skills and community engagement.
I.T and Foreign Languages
In addition to PE, Arts and Music the children have the benefit of learning from specialist teachers in Computing and French
Rumukoroshe Run 'n' Ride
The Annual Run 'n' Ride at Rumukoroshe School is an exciting, community-centered event designed to promote fitness, fun, and school spirit. Held every year, this event invites students, teachers, parents, and sometimes local residents to come together for a day of physical activity, competition, and camaraderie.
The event consists of two main components:
Run: A series of races of varying distances, designed to cater to all ages and abilities, from beginners to seasoned runners.
Ride: A cycling component where participants ride along a set course, testing their stamina and skill.
