Parent Area
Parents Involvement -Parent Support Group (PSG)
We encourage an open dialogue between teachers and parents to benefit children’s learning. We believe that parents should play a key and active role in the school and the learning opportunities that
take place in and around it, for all children. If you feel that you have anything relating to your child that you wish to discuss, please come and see us. Also, if could offer any new learning to children then please contact the school, examples are below:- Help organising school events such as swimming galas or sports days.
- Assisting with the library.
- Act as a representative for your child’s class in the PSG.
- Offer new learning opportunities through an After School Activity.
- Support learning through an IEYC/IPC/IMYC unit of work in an area which you are a specialist e.g. art, food, fashion.
The school has a system of Class Parent(s), who also supports the PSG. The class teacher will ask for volunteers for this position in September.
