IPC
The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) guides learning for children aged 5 to 11 years. It offers exciting, theme-based lessons that encourage curiosity, creativity, and global awareness helping every child enjoy learning and achieve their best.

IPC
The IPC is committed to, the holistic development of learners through enjoyable and connected Subject, Personal and International Learning that prepares them for opportunities and challenges now and in the future.
Learners are encouraged to be informed, globally competent, future-ready, socially consious and motivated to positively contribute within a local and/ and global context.
The IPC focuses on three key learning goals: Academic learning goals for Knowledge, Skills and Understanding in: Maths, Language Arts, Science, History, Geography, Art, Music, Health and Wellbeing, PE, ICT and Computing.
Personal goals, such as adaptability, collaborator, communicator, empathetic, ethical, resilient, respectful and thinker.
International goals, which focus on developing a child international mindset and global awareness.
The IPC through its holistic development encompasses Academic and Personal Learning, which supports students to flourish both inside and outside of the classroom, while its interconnected, global learning focus helps students build an understanding of people from other parts of the world.

Learning Process
The Learning Process in the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is a structured, child-centered sequence designed to make learning engaging, purposeful, and reflective. It is used to deliver each unit of learning and helps ensure that students are actively involved, connected to the content, and developing both academic skills and personal qualities.
The IPC has a 7 - step learning process:
- Entry point, a fun engaging introduction to the unit that captures the children's interest and ethusiasm.
- Knowledge Harvest explores what students already know and also helps identify misconceptions or knowledge gaps.
- Explain the Theme sets the context and expectations of what the students will be learning and subjects involved.
- Research Activities is focused on helping students gain knowledge through exploration like reading, watching videos, or doing experiments.
- Recording Activities helps students process and apply the knowledge gained through writing, drawing, designing, or creating models.
- Reflection is time set aside for students to review about what they have learned.
- And lastly Exit Point which is often a celebration, exhibition or a final project sometimes shared with parents or other classes.
Personal Learning Goals
The IPC Personal Learning Goals underpin the individual qualities and learning dispositions that the reponsible citizens of the future will need in order to thrive in a demanding global society and build a better world for all.
The school encourages children to develop according to our shared outcomes; these are guided by our belief in the Personal Goals (shared with children through a variety of characters which can be seen around the school). These goals encourage us to be: Adaptable, a Collaborator, a Communicator, Empathetic, Ethical, Resilient, Respectful and a Thinker.
