IT and Foreign Languages
At Rumukoroshe School, children build essential digital skills and explore new languages (french). Our IT and language programmes help children become confident, connected, and globally minded.

Infomation Technoloy (IT)
At Rumukoroshe School, Information Technology is an important part of our curriculum, equipping students with the digital skills and confidence they need in today’s world. From the Early Years through to the Middle Years, learners are introduced to technology in age-appropriate, engaging ways.
Our IT programme focuses on basic computer skills and typing, digital literacy and safe, responsible internet use; creative tools for presentations, research, and design; an introduction to coding and problem-solving. Encouraging innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
To further learning and special interest children can also join our after school coding club, where they explore coding, robotics, game design, and digital projects in a fun, relaxed environment. The club allows children to dive deeper into technology, collaborate with peers, and apply their skills in exciting new ways.
Through guided hands-on learning, students not only learn how to use technology but also begin to understand how it shapes the world around them.

French
Introduced as part of our foreign language programme, French is taught across all year groups by a dedicated specialist language teacher, ensuring a consistent and engaging learning experience for every student. From Early Years through to Middle Years, children are introduced to French through interactive activities such as songs, games, storytelling, and conversation practice, helping them develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Our French programme also introduces students to Francophone cultures around the world, fostering global awareness and a deeper appreciation of language as a tool for communication and connection.
For students who wish to explore further, we offer a non-compulsory French after-school club, where learners can enjoy fun, informal language activities, cultural experiences, and conversational practice beyond the classroom.
